When those that we love close their eyes in death, our hearts are filled with pain. Although the precious memories of them still remain in our minds and hearts, we deeply miss their presence in our lives as well as the many ways they enriched the lives of others. How wonderful to know that our loved ones are only sleeping in death. God's word assures us that the dead will live again! John5:28-29 Do not let your hearts be troubled. Have faith in the promises of God and in the atoning sacrifice of his dear son Jesus Christ. All things are possible by means of this death! Once again I am sorry for your loss!

To the Jenkins Family
We are sorry to hear about the passing of Janet Jenkins. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. Yes we are always sadden whenever we hear about the death of any person. Death never brings along good news. However God does provide good news and true comfort for those who have lost anyone in death. I know that Janet touched the lives of so many family members and friends. She had traits that moved others to want to be around her. Really, how can we forget about the many acts of love and kindness that she shared with those around her. No we are not to forget these traits, or the person who did them. We have many fond memories of her. But really we rather have the person back among ourselves rather then fond memories. From the scriptures, this is what God is telling us that He will do. Notice this wonderful promise that He reveals to all. He states that soon He would use His great powers to restore life back to those who have died.( John 5:28-29) Why even his flesh will return to his youthful days.(Job 33:25) Indeed this should serve as good news to everyone. God's promise of restoring life is a sure guarantee that Janet, and many others will be restored back to life. There are at least eight accounts in the bible that speaks about this wonderful arrangement. Here is just one such example found at Acts 9:36-42. May we please encourage all to read the verses. So please keep promise of God at heart all the time. Janet will stand up in life again. God has given us His personal guarantee. God does not lie.(Titus 1:2)

Dear Jenkins family:

I wish to convey my sincerest condolences to your entire family. Losing a loved one in death is one is one of the hardest things that anyone will ever have to deal with. There is a great hope held out to us for the future because God promises to bring those we lost back to life by means of a resurrection to a paradise earth, where sickness and death will be no more. I hope this brief message will bring you a measure of comfort in this difficult time.

Ms. Janet was our neighbor. She loved good grilled food and good conversation. She was ALWAYS smiling and loved her Jonathan. Ms. Janet, we didn't get a chance for that cookout we always talked about "after you get better" But you get the ultimate feast with the King of Kings!! We know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. No more pain. You will truly be missed. We promise to look out for Jonathan like we said. We love you! Rest easy my friend until we meet again. Dennis & Kim Morgan

My condolences in the loss of your dear loved one. The pain of grief we feel when our loved ones die can sometimes be unbearable. The comforting words from our heavenly father Jehovah found at Isaiah 25:8; He (God) will swallow up death forever. And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe the tears from all faces, and Psalm 34:18; Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit, will help you to cope with the grief and sadness now and in the days ahead.
