I was a student of Mrs. Jackson at Maury High School in Norfolk, Virginia. She taught me Music Appreciation and I was also in the Handbell Choir. I was sorry to learn of her passing. Her family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.

The Bible speaks of death as an enemy. At 1 Corinthians 15:26 it refers to death as the, "last enemy." Almighty God is going to eliminate this enemy in the future. That same scripture says,it is going to be destroyed. What a wonderful future blessing when death is going forever.

I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest sympathies for the loss you have suffered. I have lost loved ones and I know there is no pain compared to losing a loved one to our enemy death. We can gain so much comfort from the scriptures. God's word tells us at 2 Corinthians 1:3 that the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is the Father of all tender mercies and the God of all comfort , who comforts us in all of our trials. Yes, God truly cares for you. 1Peter 5:7 tells us to "throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you." He truly cares about you and loves you so much! He promises to give you "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding and will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus!" I encourage you to read Revelation 21:4 in your Bible to gain even more encouragement and comfort. Again, I am so sorry for the loss you have suffered.
