To the Jefferson Family
We are truly sadden to hear about the passing of Rayfield Jefferson. Our thoughts and prayers are with all during this very emotional time. Death is something that the human family should never accept. Yes we were created by God to live forever. There in not one person that looks forward to dying. With this thinking in mind, God has revealed from the scriptures just what He would do to correct our situation today. From the Bible God states that He would use His great powers to rid the earth of all sicknesses and death.( Revelation 21:3-4) Yes what a wonderful scripture this is. Can you personally imagine living during the time will no person or resident would say that they were sick? There would be no sickness. No one growing old and dying. Yet God's love and concern goes even further. This next promise would extend even into the graves of those who have died. God next states that He would call to those in the grave, who would hear His voice and stand up in life again. ( John 5:28-29) This second text is a personal guarantee to the Jefferson family and other families around the world who have lost anyone in death, that there love ones will live again. Oh what comfort words these are. For the moment we are grieving the lost of someone special. It took years to build up this special bond. Now as in a flashing moment they are gone. Yes we have fond memories of that person. But in all fairness we rather have the real person back with us. God wants us to have the very same thing. To help all to have strong faith in this promise, He has preserved nine accounts that speaks about the future resurrection hope. Here is just one such account recorded at John 11:38-44. Yes all of the account provide truth that the resurrection to life will take place. Again we understand your great sadness because of your personal lost. Yet the scriptures assures the Jefferson family that you will see Rayfield , and many others who have died. So please keep this promise near your heart. God has given you His personal promise. Yes it is impossible for God to lie. ( Titus 1:2)
