Funeral service for Mr. Jason Verner Russell, of Atlanta, will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 101 Jackson St., NE, Reverend Raphael G. Warnock, Ph.D., officiating.  Rev. Taft Quincey Heatley, Eulogist.  The remains will be placed in state at the church at 10 a.m.  The family will receive friends on Friday, January 4, 2018 at the church from 6 to 8 p.m., with the Omega service of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. at 7 p.m.  Family and friends are requested to assemble at the church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his honor to the Omega Men's Leadership Institute www.gofundme.com/national-legacy-foundation-Jason-Russell-fund
