Mrs. Willie Ruth Kemp Phillips of 730 Sterling Court, Riverdale, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Phillips, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Marsha Phillips and granddaughter, Hasina Barlow. She is survived by four children, Gail Phillips Barlow, Adolph Phillips, Jr., Valerie Phillips White & Charles White and Raymond & Pamela Phillips; several grandchildren, Malik Barlow, Doron Phillips, Jamie Phillips, Portia Shockley & DJ Shockley, Amanda White, Charles White, Jr., Rashaun Phillips, Raymond White; six great-grandchildren, Jayden Phillips, Dariana Phillips, Milan Shockley, Zion Obi, Mekhi Shockley and Christian Marshall Adolph Phillips; brother, Calvin Kemp; as well as, a host of in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life for Mrs. Willie Ruth Phillips will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Friendship Baptist Church, 437 Mitchell Street, Southwest, Atlanta, Georgia, Reverend Dr. Charles Washington, officiating with Reverend Dr. William V. Guy, Eulogist. Interment, Lincoln Cemetery. The cortege will assemble at 10:00 AM at 730 Sterling Court, Riverdale, Georgia.
