Mrs. Violet McDowell Cox of Atlanta passed December 7, 2015.  Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church, 534 Fairburn Rd., NW with Rev. Gregory Sutton, pastor, officiating.  Interment, Westview Cemetery.  The remains will be placed in state at the church at 10 a.m.  Family and friends are requested to assemble at the church at 10:30 a.m.
