Dr. Thalia Juanesta Crawford Johnson

Dr. Thalia Juanesta Crawford Johnson of Decatur, Georgia transitioned to her heavenly home on October 28, 2017.  She was the daughter of the late Deacon James L. Crawford and Mrs. Edna H. Crawford; mother of Sonja McWhorter, Thalia Watson, Bryan Johnson, Sheila Fleming and Angela Williams; sister of Lois C. Morris and the late Colonel Ellis R. Moody and Geneva Moody; grandmother of eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, 80 Walnut St., SW, with the Reverend, Dr. Richard W. Wills, Sr., Pastor, officiating.  In lieu of flowers donation maybe made in her name to Chancellor's Need-Based Scholarship Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70813, Office of the President, Dr. Ray Belton, J.S. Clark Administration Building.
