Mrs. Sylvia McLendon of East Point, GA, passed June 18, 2025.  Funeral service will be held July 1, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Flipper Temple A.M.E. Church, 580 Atlanta Student Movement Blvd., SW, The Reverend Elijah Shafah, Pastor, officiating, Bishop Gregory Von Eason, Eulogist.  Interment, Westview Cemetery.  The remains will be placed in state at the church at 10 a.m.  The public viewing will be on Monday, June 30, 2025 at our chapel from 1 to 5 p.m.
