Mr. Roshaun M. Adams of Union City, GA, passed June 13, 2025.  Funeral service will be held Friday, June 27, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 3050 Cascade Road, SW, Atlanta, GA 30311.  The remains will be placed in state at the church at 10 a.m.

RoShaun Mekele Adams was born on November 15, 1978, in Charleston, South Carolina, to the late Hester McClennon and Albert Adams. He was a man of remarkable love, warmth, and generosity. A proud dog dad, plant parent, and gifted cook. RoShaun was known for his unforgettable Sunday dinners and holiday feasts that could feed entire communities.

RoShaun faced multiple cancer battles with extraordinary strength and grace. Though his body was tested, his spirit remained unshaken. He had a heart that welcomed everyone — giving selflessly, loving deeply, and finding the good in all, even in life's most difficult moments. He was a God fearing devoted scholar and professional. RoShaun graduated from Timberland High School, earned a B.A. in Sociology from Claflin University, and an M.S.W. from Georgia State University. He was a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., a licensed real estate broker in Georgia and North Carolina, a Certified Association Management Specialist, a Certified Manager of Community Associations, and the founder of Kings Realty Advisors, LLC. RoShaun loved Christmas and he loved the lord. He believed in people, and made every space he entered brighter. He inspired many by sharing his journey and showing us all the power of resilience, compassion, and joy. He is survived by a little brother; life partner Princeton Pettway; beloved dog-sons Lorenzo and Malachi; cherished framily: Taj Prendergast, Kendrick Jones, Dionte Cofer, Darrius Clay, Dwain Hughes, Dennis Johnson, Raymond Morgan, Derrick Hill, Stephen Ford, Tawanna Usher, and Gaylon Bean; along with treasured classmates, dear friends, a large extended community, and his AMG family of colleagues, vendors, and partners. Our beloved RoShaun, your pain is gone. Your work is done. No more bad days. You have received your well-earned rest and your "job well done." You inspired countless people through your truth, your laughter, your faith, and your strength. We were blessed to know you — to laugh and cry with you, to travel, dine, dance, pray, and love with you. Your light will forever shine in our hearts. We love you, always and forever.
