Mrs. Needa W. Bolton, wife of Robert Bolton Jr., mother of Aneedra B. Wilder and Rhonda Bolton-East of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at Bethlehem Church of God Holiness, 858 Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr., SW, Bishop James C. Taylor, Sr., Pastor, officiating, Presiding Elder Carter T. Peek, Eulogist. Interment, Westview Cemetery. The remains will be placed in state at the church at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends this evening (Friday) at our chapel from 7 to 8 pm.
Needa Maude Watt Bolton was born on September 18, 1926 in

On June 26, 1955 Needa Maude Watt married Robert Bolton, Jr. To this union two beautiful daughters were born, Aneedra Eve and Rhonda Clarie.
After many years of service she retired as an employee of the Federal Government where she worked for the Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
"Needa Maude" as she was affectionately called by those who knew her, loved to spend time with her family and friends. She loved reciting original writings on First Thursday night program as well as reciting her favorite scripture the 27 th Psalm. She loved sports, in high school she was a "basketball star", she loved to cook and she loved to sing. One of her greatest memories was traveling around the convention during the summertime as a young adult with the late Bishop K.H. Burruss singing in the choir during revivals. She was most known for her straight forward and honest disposition.

On Saturday, March 23, 2013 surrounded by her loved ones at home, Needa Bolton peacefully answered the call to eternal rest.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 57 years, Robert Bolton, Jr., daughters, Aneedra Wilder and Rhonda (Ronnie) East, grandsons, Stanley C. (Charlette) Wilder, II and Robert D. (Brandee) Wilder, great-grandchildren, Shania, Shayla, Stanley, III and Emanuel. Devoted niece, Doris "Hazel" Maddox, sister-in-law, Bobbie R. Bolton, God-children, Norman (Gwendolyn) Little and Emanuel Jones, Jr., God-brother and God-sisters Willie D. (Barbara) Finley, Annie Ruth Walton and Vivian (Curtis) McGhee. Care givers, Linda Yarbrough, Beatrice Ampofo, Patrice Leonard, Gloria Dennis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Lula Watt, Rose Watt, Henry Watt, Sally Macmanus, L.C. Macmanus and Mathew Booker and God-daughter, Louise McKay.
