Garnie Perkins Bethea

Minister Garnie Almira Perkins Bethea, daughter of the Late Reverend Franklin Ellsworth Perkins, Jr. and the Late Mrs. Margaret Randolph Perkins, moved from her earthly tabernacle to her eternal home on high on Friday, May 23, 2014.

She is survived by her brother, Tech Sgt. Randolph H. Perkins, USAF Ret. (Gayle); her sister, Reverend Marian L. Perkins; two (2) aunts, Ms. Bina L. Perkins and Reverend Jo-Ann R. Murphy; four (4) cousins, Mrs. Kaye Stewart- (Nathan) Bailey & Family, Mr. Jeffrey (Lavonne Davis-) Temple & Family, Ms. Laurell A. Daye & Family and Mr. William E. (Shenita D.) Perkins & Family; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Her life will be celebrated in a Memorial Musical Tribute on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 4:00PM at Greater Fellowship Baptist Church, 3600 Midway Road, Decatur, Georgia, Reverend Stanley A. Smith, Senior Pastor. Her pastor, Elder Gordon R. Witcher, Gethsemane Temple United Holy Church, 3247 Midway Road, Decatur, Georgia, will preside.
