Melba Moore Carter
Mrs. Melba Moore Carter of Atlanta, passed February 4, 2024. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Friendship Baptist Church, 80 Walnut St., SW, Dr. Darryl J. Tookes, Interim Pastor, Reverend Kevin Calhoun, officiating, Dr. Elfred Pickard, Eulogist. Interment, South-view Cemetery. The remains will be placed in state at the church at 1 p.m. The public viewing will take place at our chapel on Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 1 to 6 p.m,
