Marguerite F. Simon

Miss Marguerite F. Simon of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on April 25, 2014.

Retired professor of physical education at Spelman College and longtime member of First Congregational Church, Miss Simon is survived by a nephew, Edward L. Simon and a niece, Margaret Summerour, both of Atlanta, Georgia; grand nieces, Carol Lane (Kareem) of Birmingham, Alabama and Kenya Summerour of Atlanta, Georgia; great grand nephews, Kendall Chase Summerour of Atlanta, Georgia and Ian Carter Lane of Birmingham, Alabama; and a host of caring friends and former students.

Funeral Service for Miss Marguerite F. Simon will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11:00AM at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 105 Courtland Street, Northeast, Atlanta, Reverend Dr. Dwight D. Andrews, Pastor. Interment, SouthView Cemetery.
