Wallace of East Point, GA passed Friday, September 2, 2016.  Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. at East Point First Mallalieu United Methodist Church, 2651 Church St., East Point, GA, Reverend Fleming Thompson, Jr., pastor, Minister Rori F. Blakeney, officiating Interment, Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA.  The remains will be placed in state at the church at 10 a.m. Survivors are his wife, Patricia Dent Wallace; children, Melanie Wallace Huckabee (G. Davis), Courtney Wallace McCord (Alvin Dion), and Michael J. Wallace; grandchildren, Jacoby Shipmon, Cory Loggins, Jamel Heard, Jade McMord, Eli Huckabee, Jacob Huckabee, and Xander McCord; aunt, Jean Alston Gundy; sisters, Wanda Woodards Harris, Gwentellia Solomon, and Daphne Givens; uncle, Jack Wallace, Sr.; cousins, Valroide Alston, Richard Alston, Monique Young, Karen Harris, Marilyn Ives Calhoun, Eddie Ives, Cynthia Bowman, Clarence and Ruth Walker; aunts, Lenora Ives and Lillian Singleton and a host of other relatives and friends.
