Mr. Leon Phillips

Mr. Leon Phillips of Atlanta passed December 19, 2016.  Memorial service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 2 p.m. at our chapel with The Reverend Darrell Irvin, officiating.

Leon Phillips entered into  this life in Abbeville, GA on April 26, 1949 to the late William Phillips and Annie Ruth Lewis.  He departed this life on Monday, December 19, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Phillips and sisters, Rosemary, Yvonne and Barthella Phillips.

Leon  joined Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend James H. Sims, Jr.  He was a member of Sunday School Class#13 and was loved by all.  Left to cherish his memory are his son, Leon Phillips, Jr.; sister Jennifer T. Powers (Carnell) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
