Lawrence Bryant

Mr. Lawrence "Larry" Williams Bryant of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014.

He was born in Savannah, Georgia, the youngest child of the late Raleigh A. Bryant and Nadie Williams Bryant. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Gladys Huff and Eleanor Williams, and a nephew, Raleigh A. Bryant III.  He was graduated from Beach High School, Knoxville College, New York University and the John Marshall Law School.  Larry worked for the Josten's Ring Company and retired from Glaxo Smith Kline Pharmaceutical Company.  He was an active member of Friendship Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Revonia "Ronnie" Radden Bryant; daughter, Daphne Bryant Vincent; grandson, Walter Lawrence Vincent; brother, Raleigh Bryant, Jr. (Jacqueline); nieces, Joan Tillman, Paulette Tucker (Walter), Jocelyn Harden (Charles); many cousins, nephews and friends.

The Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 22, 2014 at 6:00PM in the Chapel of Carl M. Williams Funeral Directors, Inc. with Family Visitation from 7:00PM - 8:00PM.

Funeral service will be held at the Providence Missionary Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 1:30PM, 2295 Benjamin E. Mays Drive, Southwest.  Entombment in the Abbey of Westview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Friendship Baptist Church Retirees Choir (P.O. Box 42470, Atlanta, Georgia 30311).
