Mrs. Joanna Freeman Sutton

Mrs. Joanna Freeman Sutton of Atlanta, died February 6, 2018.  Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, 80 Walnut St., SW, with Reverend Doctor Richard W. Wills, Sr., pastor, Eulogist.  Entombment, The Westview Abbey at Westview Cemetery.  Mrs. Sutton will be placed in state at the church at 10 a.m.  The Omega Omega Service of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 4 p.m. at the church immediately followed by The White Rose Ceremony of the Links, Inc., followed by the Memorial service of The Society, Inc. Survivors are her daughters, Angela Cassandra Sutton, Alta Phatena Sutton, Dietre Jo Sutton; grandchildren: Samuel Earl Martin, Jr., Afrika Jonée Pratt-Ansa, Angela Cassandra Martin and Khalil J. Ozell Sutton (Nikki); seven great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
