Mr. Jerry Sheldon

Mr. Jerry Sheldon of Manhattan, NY passed August 15, 2017 in Atlanta, GA at the residence of his aunt, Mrs. Annie Gates.  Jerry was the son of the late Lucious and Estella Spivey.  He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, Atlanta and a member of Flipper Temple A.M.E. Church of which he joined at a very early age.  Because of his love for singing, he was a member of the church choir.  Jerry later moved to New York where he spent many years.  He leaves to cherish his memory, sisters, Johnnie Parks and Ruby Nell Peter; aunts, Barbara Harris and Annie Gates; numerous other relatives and friends.  Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 1 p.m. at our chapel.  Family and friends are requested to assemble at the chapel at 12:30 p.m.
