Obituary

We celebrate the homegoing of our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend, Harrison James Larkins. Born on December 3, 1992, in Atlanta, GA, Harrison peacefully departed this life on December 15, 2025, in Atlanta at the age of 33. Harrison touched countless lives with his compassion, integrity, and gentle spirit, leaving behind a legacy rich in love, gratitude, and faith.

Harrison's educational journey began at Trinity Elementary School, where he was honored with an invitation to join the National Children's Choir and performed at Carnegie Hall in 2003 and 2005. He graduated from The Westminster Schools in 2010, where he also earned the Highest Honor in scouting, becoming an Eagle Scout, which reflects his commitment to Service, Leadership, and Character.

He continued his education at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, spending his freshman and sophomore years there before transferring to Georgia State University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. During his time at Georgia State, Harrison nurtured his love for the performing arts, participating in several theatrical productions. After college, he continued to share his creativity and humor through stand-up comedy and co-hosting an improv Pronto Radio show.

Professionally, Harrison worked as a Computer Analyst at VSoft Corporation for five years. His impact extended beyond his technical expertise. Per the HR Director, "Harrison was a bright soul who touched so many of us. He truly made work more enjoyable simply by being himself."

Harrison is survived by his loving mother, Wendolyn Larkins; his father, James W. Larkins Jr; sister Kerrigan Larkins; maternal grandparents, Howard and Gwendolyn Harris (Nashville, TN); paternal grandparents, the late Reverend James W. Larkins Sr., and Elsie Larkins. He is also survived by numerous cousins and a wide circle of friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Harrison's life was marked by creativity, kindness, and an infectious spirit that brought joy to all who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing that he now rests in the presence of the Lord. His legacy lives on in the laughter he shared, the lives he touched, and the love he gave so freely. His memory will forever remain in our hearts.
