George D. Cummings of Atlanta, Georgia passed on March 4, 2024.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 3050 Cascade Road, SW. with Reverend A. Brown, officiating.  Interment, Monday, March 18, 2024 at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton , GA.,  The remains will be placed in state at the church at 10 a.m.  The public viewing will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at our chapel from 1 to 6 p.m.

George Cummings was a Beloved Friend, Teacher, Mentor, and Family Man.  George lived his life in support of others, and provided a great sense of humorous advice to every situation. 'Foot' or 'Cummings' was a family man as well, and supported his family in many ways.

George provided a loving support system, and was very much loved by all who encountered him. He will be most remembered and cherished for his kindness, and hard work.

We are thankful for the life of our friend, coworker, and family man, George Cummings.
