Mrs. Edith J. Williams of Atlanta, Georgia passed away Friday, October 10, 2014.

The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Edith J. Williams will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 12:00Noon at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 200 Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard, Southwest, Atlanta, Georgia, Reverend Eric D. Hurst, Pastor. Her remains will be placed in state at the church at 11:00AM on the morning of the service.

Interment, Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughters, Patricia DeLoney, Barbara Ann (David) Chelsey and Dr. Sarah Haynes; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, James (Mary) Johnson, Jr., of Baltimore, MD; sister, Barbara Ann Riggins; brother-in-law, Rev. Gordon (Delores) Williams; a devoted nephew, Marvin (Theresa) Byars; a host of other relatives and friends.
