Mrs. Dorothy Bell Scott passed September 23, 2020. Graveside Service Thursday, October 1, 2020 11 Am Southview Cemetery .

Dorothy Bell Scott, was born October 1, 1928. She was the first born to Albert and Surnella Bell.  On November 3rd she became a loving big sister to Charles Rudolph Bell (Gloria). She was a prayer warrior, a Christian, a wife, a mother, a great-great-grandmother, a friend, and a neighbor above all she was LOVED.

She accepted Christ at a young age and was said to have preached to her friends telling them "Have a seat and open your bibles", giving a hard stare if they were talking! She attended Lady of Lourdes of Atlanta. She was a member of several singing groups though out her life finally forming her own group the Scott's Trio.

1948 marked the beginning of greatest love story ever told and on May 12th Willie Lee Scott and Dorothy Bell became husband and wife. Of this union there were seven children. Jimmy Bell, Brenda, Gloria, Freddie, Raymond, Y'Vonne, and Allyson. There were 17 Grand-children, 28 great grand children and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by both her parents Albert and Surnella Bell, her husband Willie Lee Scott, her uncle Charles Presley, 1 son Jimmy Bell, 1 grandchild Cameo Meadows, 1 great grandchild Courtnielius Johnson, and 1 great-great grandchild N'Quinton Winters.

She leaves to cherish her legacy: her remaining children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, a host of niece's nephew's family and friends.
