Mrs. Cora Charleen Blackmon Simon of Atlanta died February 16, 2016.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 11 am at The First Congregational Church, UCC, 105 Courtland Street, NE with The Reverend Dr. Dwight D. Andrews, Senior Pastor, officiating.  Interment, South-View Cemetery.  The remains will be placed in state at the church at 9:30 a.m.  The Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Burial Service will be held on the morning of the service at the church at 10 a.m.

Survivors are her daughter, Mrs. Carol Simon Lane (Kareem); brother, Mr. Charles W. Blackmon; grandson, Ian, Lane; Niece, Nicole Blackmon; aunt, Lynn Malone; and a host of cousins other relatives and friends.

The cortege will assemble at 372 Angier Ave., NE at 10 a.m.
