Mrs. Barbara Johnson Riggins of Atlanta, GA passed on Saturday, September 19, 2020.  Ms. Barbara Ann Johnson Riggins was born in Atlanta, Georgia on March 26,1931, to the late Mr. James T. Johnson Sr. and late Mrs. Annie B. Coleman. She was preceded in death by her Stepfather Dea. M. B. Coleman, 2 siblings Mrs. Edith J. Williams and Mr. James T. Johnson Jr. One son Mr. Willie Marvin Byars, Jr. She grew up in Southwest Atlanta and was educated in Atlanta Public School System and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. She was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Howard W. Creecy Sr. She leaves to cherish her loving memories 2 Grandchildren, Marvin Benjamin Byars Sr. and Brandye Byars, 1 Great Grandson, Marvin Benjamin Byars Jr. (Little Marvin), Nieces, Nephews and a host of family and friends. There will be a private invitational only service at Lincoln Cemetery on Thursday, September 24, 2020, at 12Noon.
