Annie S. Campbell

Mrs. Annie S. Campbell of Atlanta, passed January 19, 2020.  Funeral will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in our chapel, with Reverend D. A. Anderson, Pastor of Beacon of Hope, officiating.  Interment, Lincoln Cemetery. Annie Lee Campbell was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 30, 1939 to Sallie Kate and Thomas Sheffield, Sr.  She joined Liberty Baptist Church at an early age. She later married Robert Campbell, Jr and raised two sons, Ronald and Tony Campbell. She worked as a women's clothing salesperson for Leonards and Mirror Stores, located downtown Atlanta for over 20 years. She was a compassionate woman, and a pillar of strength for her entire family. We loved her and she will be missed greatly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Campbell Jr, in 1983, her sisters Katie Jackson and Joannae Sheffield in 2001 and 2008, respectively. She leaves to cherish her memory: her sons, Tony (Bridgette) Campbell, Atlanta; Ronald (Sharon) Campbell, Augusta; her siblings, Sallie Anthony, Alice Brooks, and Thomas (Dorothy) Sheffield; her grandchildren, Alex Campbell, Chyna Bryant, Bradley Campbell, Brennon (Olivia) Campbell, and Shayla Campbell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
