PRAYERS
Creator of all, we pray to you for
Virginia Dowell and for all those whom we
love but see no longer. Grant her a holy rest.
And may her soul and the souls of all our dearly departed, through the
mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

O God of grace and glory, we remember before you this day our dear
departed sister, Virginia Dowell.
We thank you for giving her to family and friends, to know and to love
as a companion on our earthly pilgrimage. In your boundless compassion, console us who mourn.
Give us faith so that in quiet confidence we may continue our course on
earth until you call us to follow those who have gone before. Amen.

Grant, O God, to us who are bereaved the spirit of faith and courage,
that we may have strength to meet the days to come with steadfastness
and patience; not sorrowing as those without hope, but in thankful remembrance of your great goodness in granting us life with those we continue to love. Amen.

Deal graciously, we pray, with us who mourn the loss of our beloved sister, Virginia Dowell;

Jeanne and Ginger so sad to hear of aunt Peggye's passing, losing a mom is a hard thing but God never makes a mistake. I can only say I know what you are feeling at this time. Keep her love and all the memories you made together close in your hearts, her love is always with you no matter. May Gods love and mercy keep you in the days to come. Your Cousin.

Virginia Dowell was one of my favorite Delta Kappa Gamma Alpha Psi sisters. We were so glad when she came back to Atlanta she joined our Alpha Psi Chapter.
