I am very sorry for your loss. “May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:7) May the hope of a resurrection right here on a restored earth bring you comfort. (John 5:25; Psalm 37:11, 29)

My deepest condolences for the loss of your dear loved one. While nothing will completely take away your grief by meditating on Gods promises found in the Bible you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. My family and I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting. Here it promises that God "will swallow up death forever and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

To the family and friends of the deceased,
Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Many have found true comfort from the pages of God's word the Bible (2 Corinthians 1:3-5}. The Bible tells us why we die (Genesis 2:16, 17; Romans 5:12) the condition of the dead (Ecclesiastes 9:5) and that we can be reunited with our loved ones (Acts 24:15). The Bible also tells us where this happy event will take place (Psalm 37:29; 115:16). At John 17:3 Jesus tells us the benefit of reading and studying the Bible. He also said at John 8:32 that "the truth will set you free". Please visit JW.org to learn what the Bible really teaches.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one Taneya. It is so comforting that in the Bible at Revelation 21:3-4 Jehovah God promises a time when sickness and death will be no more. Also at John 5:28 & 29 shows that the dead will live again. They will be raised from the memorial tombs here on earth. Hope this helps some during this difficult time. To The Family, I know, your loved one will be truly missed. May you reflect back over the many wonderful memories you shared together and I am sure they will bring a smile to your heart. The Bible promises we will see our dead love ones come back in the resurrection.(Revelation 21:3,4). Allow Gods word to comfort you and bring you peace.
