Lee-Lee, as if it were just yesterday, I still remember the day I was assigned to work on a procurement project for you; you were so handsome, distinguished, pleasant, and professional. From that first meeting, we found ourselves going to lunch regularly, we discussed everything - life, love, marriage, divorce, real estate, children, red velvet cake, childhood memories, work, work-life balance, health, etc. After leaving MARTA in 2010, I thought of you often, and today I decided to reach out to you to re-connect and perhaps do lunch soon, and I came upon this obituary notice. This was the furthest thing from my mind, so here I sit in utter shock, numb with sadness. Lee-Lee, thank you for your kindness, tender care, and guidance. I will always cherish our time together, and friendship. I miss you, even more now. Rest in peace, my special friend.

I am very sorry for your loss. I would like to share a scripture that I hope brings you comfort during this difficult time. "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." -John 5:28. This scripture shows that God has promised to restore the dead to life by the means of the resurrection. You have the hope of being reunited with loved ones right here on earth but under very different conditions! For additional encouraging information please visit www.jw.org

I will miss the smile on his and smell of Polo Sport and all the memories we shared. He was more than the best. He was a giant of a man, he was "my diamond in the ruff". I don't know what I'm going to do without him, he was one of a kind. That smile on his face in the old Cowboy's stadium was worth a million. I can't stop crying, but I know he is in a better place and not suffering anymore. Damani and Leandria, your father loved you both. He worried about leaving you all. Rest in peace my sweet prince.

To the Family of Mr. Lee Murphy,
I was very saddened when I found out of his passing. Mr. Murphy has been so inspirational in my professional growth during my tenure with MARTA. Without his leadership and guidance, my career would not be what it is today. I will always cherish and remember him. I will continue to pray for your strength through this bereavement time. To be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD, and I am sure that is where he is now.
