Mrs. Lydia Corine Anderson

Mrs. Lydia Corine Anderson of Atlanta, passed October 7, 2017.

Mrs. Lydia Corine Browne Anderson was an amazing, beautiful inside and out, loyal, and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great-grandmother, auntie and friend to many.  Lydia gave her life to the Lord many years ago and was baptized at a very early age.  She was prepared and ready to meet the Lord many years ago. 
During her career as Cafeteria Manager at Risley Elementary and Molette Middle Schools in Brunswick Georgia, she ensured that every child smiled and received a hot meal daily, even if they could not pay for it. 

The Lord blessed her to live for nearly 97 years, and He kept her with a sound mind and very sharp wit until the day of her transition. 

Lydia always enjoyed a good joke and one of the biggest highlights of her day was for her son Jon to tell her a joke.  Jon ensured that she smiled and laughed, and laugh she did indeed.   She is sorely missed by all who knew and loved her, but, she often spoke of going home to be with the Lord, and that would put a smile on her face also.     The family thanks God for receiving her safely home.  All is well with her soul.
