Mr. Quincy Bernard Hall of Atlanta passed September 25, 2017. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Greater New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 2540 Campbellton Road, SW with Dr. Leland Jones, Sr., Senior Pastor officiating.  Interment, Lincoln Cemetery.  The remains will be placed in state at the church at 9:00 a.m.  Mr. Hall's remains may be view Sunday, October 1, 2017 at our chapel from 12 noon until 7 p.m.

Quincy Bernard Hall was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the proud parents of Otis, Sr. and Hilda Hall on August 1, 1975. He was the youngest of four children: Otis, Curtis and Corine (Von). He quietly left to be with his Maker on September 25, 2017.

He was a product of the Atlanta Public School System where he graduated from D.M. Therrell High School in 1993. He was a dedicated member of the ROTC and orchestra. Since he had a love for music, he was a gifted violinist.

His love for music stretched beyond classical. Quincy enjoyed listening to all genres of music. In addition to music, he had a great love for dancing and making people happy and smile. Anyone around him was quickly affected by his ability to make them laugh. He had a pleasing personality that gravitated people to him.

Watching sports was one of his favorite pastimes. He frequently enjoyed watching wrestling with his mom and was known as a                    #1 Green Bay Packers’ (Cheese Head) fan.

He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved parents, Otis and Hilda Hall, Sr.; brothers, Otis Hall, Jr. and Curtis Pinson; sister, Corine Yvonne Pinson; nieces, Yolanda Hall, Monica Hall, Tonya Mustipher and Shannon Watkins; nephews, Curtis (Yogi) Watkins and Brandon Hester; great niece, Alivia Hester; fiancé, Tamiko Durham and their unborn daughter Quincy; Camari Stanley (Tamiko’s daughter), and a host of family and life-long friends.  Family and friends are requested to assemble at the church at 9:30 a.m. on the morning of the service.
